“Oh, if I could but live another century and see the fruition of all the work for women! There is so much yet to be done.” – Susan B. Anthony

Go for perfection. My friend Bill used to tell the students in his English class that whenever he assigned an essay to them it was already perfect, down to the last semicolon. Their problem was, they would have to massage it often enough until it got to that point. Impatience was the temptation - an essay handed in before all the rewrites are completed, he used to remind them, is just like taking a cake out of the oven half way through the baking process because you’re hungry. The final product is called “Half-baked!”
Like, who wants to drink a piece of cake?
