Once I make a commitment that’s firm a surprisingly pliant universe conspires to make it happen. If that process is not clear to me it’s probably because that commitment is more wobbily than firm. And if THAT’s the case an observant universe [“this guy’s all talk!”] will be neither pliant nor conspiratorial.
