You and I are bearing witness, right now, to something.  It isn’t necessarily the words you and I trot out; no, it’s the person we are that bears witness to that something. Those you and I are close to are absorbing that something and emulating us.

Are you proud of that witnessing? Only you can answer that.

But you cannot escape it.
