From “The Human Condition: A User’s Manual,” by Arnold Kunst

In1956 Floyd Patterson, at 21, became the youngest
heavyweight champion in history. I was 15 at the time and I remember how
impressed I was. What got my attention was that he had a coach - what was that
about anyway?! And I thought, "He's at the top - when does a guy get to
coast, anyway?"
Wrong take-away, right? It was only when I got older that I
learned the right take-away: a coach is worth his weight in gold; choose him
carefully, follow his lead to get to the top, continue to follow his lead to
remain at the top.
I don't know what you do, but you’d be wise to get a coach.
Unless, of course, you’re ok thinking like a kid?
