From “The Human Condition: A User’s Manual,” by Arnold Kunst
5 April
Stephen Covey tells the story of running across a father and his kids in
a subway car - the guy’s kids were running up and down the car completely out
of control to the annoyence all the other passangers. When someone
diplomatically said to the man, ‘your children certainly are lively!’ the man
replied, ‘yes, I suppose they are. I apologize; I’m not quite myself right now.
You see, my wife died this morning.’
How’s that for a paradigm shift!
